How to delete your account

Option 1 — Self-service (immediate)

You can delete your account directly from the AWSYS.CO app or website at any time. No waiting period, no email required.

  1. Sign in to your account at awsys.co or open the AWSYS.CO mobile app
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon or account menu)
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
  4. Click "Delete Account"
  5. Type DELETE ALL to confirm
  6. Check the confirmation box and click "Delete My Account"

Your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access your account (lost password, deactivated email address, etc.), send a deletion request to our support team. Use the button below to open your email client with a pre-filled message:

Make sure to replace [your email here] with the email address associated with your account.

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days of receipt and confirm via reply.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed immediately:

  • Your email address and account profile
  • Password hash
  • API keys and MCP credentials
  • Webhook configurations
  • Folder names and saved views
  • Custom domain settings
  • Billing information and subscription records
  • UTM templates and preferences
  • Any active Stripe subscription (cancelled immediately at deletion)

What is retained after deletion

Short links — remain active

Your shortened URLs continue to redirect indefinitely after account deletion. This prevents broken links for anyone who has already shared your URLs. Your account identity is removed from all link records immediately upon deletion — only the anonymous redirect destination remains.

Aggregate, anonymised click statistics (country-level, device type, no personal identifiers) may be retained for up to 90 days for platform analytics, in line with our Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Under Mexico's LFPDPPP and the EU's GDPR, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data at any time. Account deletion exercises this right in full for the data categories listed above.
