Connect Claude.ai to your AWSYS account

Use Claude.ai's MCP connector to access all your short links, analytics, and AWSYS tools directly inside Claude — no API key needed.

Requirements

Step-by-step

  1. Open Claude.ai Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Settings.
  2. Go to Integrations → Add connector
Under the Integrations section, click Add connector (or "Connect more tools").
  3. Enter the AWSYS MCP server URL
Paste https://awsys.co/mcp into the server URL field and click Connect.
Claude.ai will automatically discover the authorization endpoints — you don't need to configure anything else.
  4. Log in to AWSYS and approve the connection
You will be redirected to AWSYS.CO. If you are not already signed in, you will be asked to log in first.
A consent screen will show you what Claude.ai is requesting access to. Click Allow Access to proceed.
  5. You're connected
Claude.ai will redirect back and confirm the connection. You can now ask Claude to shorten URLs, check analytics, manage folders, and more using your AWSYS account.

What Claude.ai can access

When you approve the connection, Claude.ai receives access to all 54 MCP tools. Your tier limits apply exactly as they do in the dashboard:

Claude.ai cannot change your plan, billing details, or account password.

Managing the connection

The connection stays active for 24 hours. Claude.ai refreshes it automatically in the background — you won't be prompted to re-approve unless you explicitly revoke access.

To disconnect at any time, go to Settings → Integrations in Claude.ai and remove the AWSYS connector.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work on mobile?

The Claude.ai connector flow is web-only. On mobile, you can still connect AWSYS to Claude Code by configuring an API key directly in the MCP settings. See MCP developer docs for details.

Is my AWSYS password shared with Claude.ai?

No. The OAuth flow never shares your password. Claude.ai receives a short-lived access token that can only call the AWSYS MCP tools — it has no access to your account credentials or billing information.

What if I see "Couldn't register with AWSYS.co's sign-in service"?

This error appears on older AWSYS builds that did not support OAuth. If you see it on the current site, try refreshing the Claude.ai connector settings page and reconnecting. If the problem persists, contact support.

Can I connect multiple AWSYS accounts?

Claude.ai supports one AWSYS connector at a time. To switch accounts, disconnect the existing connector and reconnect with the other account.
