URL Shortener
FreeCore feature — available on all plans
What is URL Shortening?
URL shortening converts a long destination URL into a compact awsys.co link that redirects visitors instantly. Every link you create gets its own analytics dashboard, so you can see exactly how many people clicked, from where, and on what device. Short links also look cleaner in emails, social posts, and print materials.
Requirements
URL shortening is available on all plans, including the free tier. No credit card is required to get started. Free accounts can create up to 25 links per day.
Step-by-step: Create a short link
- Log in to your account and click Create Link in the top navigation.
- Paste your long destination URL into the Destination URL field. The URL must start with
https://orhttp://. - Optionally add a title to help you identify the link in your dashboard later.
- To set an expiry date, toggle Expiration and choose a date and time. After that moment, the link redirects visitors to your 404 page instead of the destination.
- To cap the number of clicks, toggle Click Limit and enter the maximum. Once reached, further clicks are blocked (the link shows an expired-style page).
- Click Shorten. Your new short URL appears immediately — copy it or share it directly.

Common questions
Can I edit a link after creating it?
Yes. Open the link in your dashboard and click the pencil icon. You can update the destination URL, title, expiry date, and click limit at any time. The short URL itself never changes.
What happens when a link expires?
Visitors clicking an expired link are shown a friendly "Link expired" page. The link still appears in your dashboard so you can re-enable it by removing or updating the expiry date.
Is there a daily link creation limit?
Free accounts can create up to 25 links per day. Pro and Builder plans have no daily creation limit. The limit resets at midnight UTC.
How do I delete a link?
Select the link in your dashboard and click the trash icon. Deleted links immediately stop redirecting. This action cannot be undone, but you can always create a new link to the same destination.
